SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Advent Software (Nasdaq: ADVS) announced the acquisition of East Circle Solutions. The price of the all-cash transaction was not disclosed. East Circle develops software that automates the billing process for investment management organizations. Advent is a provider of software and solutions to the investment management industry and believes the acquisition will be complementary to its business. In the first half of 2007, Advent plans to introduce new versions of their products Advent Portfolio Exchange(R) and Axys(R).
